It’s deep enough to pack on without looking like a beam of light is sitting on your cheeks.įor those of you with a lighter skin tone, I wouldn’t recommend this one. For those of you who love to go glam and pack on the highlight, I would say Topaz is the shade for you if you’re within the NC40-NC50 range. I’m someone who likes to apply makeup lightly even if I have a lot of products on my face, which is partly why I like all of the shades I picked up. It’s a beautiful golden bronze shade that looks subtle and effortless when lightly applied to the cheekbones. I’ve worn this one a few times already and of the three, Topaz is the most natural for women close to my skintone. Topaz is the original shade I wanted because of the deep tone. Now that you have a quick overview of all three, let’s get to my opinion on each shade. It’s also worth noting that while the price point is very high for a product that isn’t a necessity, the SSPs are so pigmented that you truly can just tap your brush lightly to obtain a nice glow. With Becca Cosmetics Shimmering Skin Perfector (which I’ll refer to as SSP through the remainder of this post), they all have a rich, smooth texture. Sometimes when you purchase an item in multiple shades, the formula can vary. Regardless of the shade you choose, I’ve noticed they thankfully all have the same consistency.
